Ever get the feeling you’re losing the plot? Don’t worry...if you’re feeling like you’re changing emotionally, it’s because you are! Nobody said being a teenager was easy. Ok, so some changes are really good, but others are rubbish. Here are some things you might be feeling:
 Who am I?
 The technical term for it is ‘cognitive development’ and it means you can think about stuff in a more abstract way. Like, you may start thinking more about who you are and what you want from life. More like an adult.
 OMG I’m so emotional 
 You may easily get cross with your parents or mates. A small thing that wouldn't have bothered you before drives you crazy now. Feeling angry is totally normal during puberty because of the hormonal changes you’re going through. For the same reason, loads of girls get edgy right before their period. Mood swings are totally common. Annoying, yes, but you’re not alone.
 I cry loads...is that normal?!
 It’s normal! It happens to a lot of girls having PMT and will happen to most girls throughout puberty, especially when you’ve got your period. You're a little emotional right now but just remember: it’s ok. It’s only puberty. But if you are feeling really sad or emotional and think you might be depressed, it’s a good idea to see your GP, just to be on the safe side.
